- Scientific Work:
- International Conferences and Workshops:
I attended and held presentations at 18 international scientific conferences and 23 international scientific workshops - among them some of the most important international top conferences like the International World Wide Web Conference, the International Semantic Web Conference, and the International Conference on Semantic Systems. In 2012, I attended the international well-established Summer School on Ontology Engineering and the Semantic Web.
I published my work in form of 28 publications (5 journal articles, 8 articles in conference proceedings, 3 articles in workshop proceedings, 2 specifications, 9 technical reports, and my PhD thesis).
- Internationel Working Groups:
I am part of and actively contributed to 3 international working groups whose aim is to develop international standards using Semantic Web technologies. Together with Linked Data community members and experts from the social, behavioral, and economic sciences, we developed (1) the DDI-RDF Discovery Vocabulary, a vocabulary to support the discovery of statistical data and its metadata, (2) Physical Data Description (PHDD), a vocabulary to represent data in tabular format and their physical properties, and (3) XKOS, a SKOS extension to describe formal statistical classifications and to introduce refinements of the semantic properties between pairs of concepts.
